CIO Tyres Pvt. Ltd. is an industry leader in "Off the Road" Tyre Retreading and Repairing. We offer our dealers a variety of retread products and repair options that can be designed to fit virtually any customer need We are a specialist in retreading tyres of heavy earth moving equipment like dumpers which can carry loads varying from 40 tons to 180 tons and tyre sizes vary from 6 feet to 12 feet. These are expensive and the cost of a new tyre ranges from Rs.1 lakh to Rs.15 lakh. Such tyres are known as Off-The-Road tyres or OTR tyres and have very special requirements for retreading. CIO Tyres repairs and retreads bias ply and radial OTR tyres using special moulds, with each mould designed to match the tyre size.

CIO has also it's name marked for indigenously developing moulds and machineries required for retreading very large size OTR Tyres, including 50.80 x 57 used for 240 Tonne Dumpers. In fact, the entire expansion and modernisation of it's Jamshedpur plant over the year were done indigenously without importing any equipment. Through continous sustained development, CIO has been able to maintain a level of technology at par with the technically advanced countries of the world. This has been achieved without any foreign collaboration or financial assistance from any quarter.

CIO gives guarantee for their retreaded tyres, which is almost equivalent to the life of new tyres. Most of the HEMM Tyres are tubeless and imported. Through CIO’s pioneering efforts in expanding their range and capability in retreading these rare size tyres, the company has not only saved foreign exchange, but also the tyre maintenance cost by more than 70%, which is a substantial saving to national economy.

All raw materials required for retreading is manufactured at CIO’s sister concern, Bihar Rubber Factory in Jamshedpur thus ensuring no compromise in quality at low cost.
